FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What is Liquid Spray Siding?

Liquid Spray Siding is a polymer and resin based exterior coating sealant that uses an exclusive process and product by which professional exterior re-modelers can coat your entire house or other structure.

Why is Liquid Spray Siding better than solid siding?

Since Liquid Spray Siding is cast directly to the walls of your home it retains the natural brick, stucco, or wood grain texture and look of your home to maintain its original beauty and architectural integrity. There are no parts, no seams, and nothing to warp, bow, sag, or fall off of the house. Liquid Spray Siding appears exactly like a fresh coat of paint. The appearance is so authentic that Liquid Spray Siding has been approved for use on historic buildings in districts throughout the country.

Why is Liquid Spray Siding better than paint?

Liquid Spray Siding will still look just like a fresh coat of paint long after any quality paint would become discolored, faded, mildewed, and cracked. Liquid Spray Siding has much higher viscosity than paint, is very mildew resistant, elastic, virtually maintenance free and is capable of expanding up to 600% - so it stands up to extreme temperature changes far better than brittle materials such as paint or ceramic. And it comes with a fifty year warranty direct from the manufacturer, so you'll never have to worry about repainting your exterior again.

Does Liquid Spray Coating help insulate the structure?

Not in itself, but by sealing the structure LSS reduces conduction and convection heat loss in winter and gain in summer and leaves the structure practically waterproof. But beware of the exaggerated claims made for some products. An external coating cannot provide insulation equal to that inside the walls, nor can it reduce your energy costs by 40% or more. The true value of any external coating is in the elimination of future maintenance, and the continuing beautiful appearance it provides. In this respect Liquid Spray Siding is unquestionably superior to any other product.

How thick is Liquid Spray Siding?

Liquid Spray Siding is up to ten times as viscous as ordinary paint and has a much higher percentage of solids. A coat of paint dries to about one mil (.001)inches on the wall. Our primer dries to about 4 mils, and the Liquid Spray Siding dries to about 10 mils or the equivalent of painting your home ten times!

But doesn't applying a coat that thick made the house look as though is has been painted ten times? I've seen how bad that many coats of paint make a surface look, won't my house look like that?

No. Liquid Spray Siding will make your home or business look just as it did when it was new, with one coat of paint. It will just stay fresh looking for decades, maintenance free with no further application.

Do you coat the entire structure with Liquid Spray Siding?

No. Liquid Spray Siding is not applied to flat or walking surfaces like decks or roofs.

What about caulking windows and doors?

Complete caulking is part of the application process. An elastomeric sealant is used to assure a lifetime of protection. Liquid Spray Siding is only applied to a properly prepared surface.

Can Liquid Spray Siding be used on my soffit, fascia and trim?

Yes. Liquid Spray Siding is seamless, with a clean look, available in any color, unlike aluminum with its seams and hard to clean appearance

How long will it take to apply Liquid Spray Siding?

This depends on the preparation required and the size of the project, but in general three to five days from start to finish.

Do I have to coat the entire structure with Liquid Spray Siding, or can I just coat selected parts such as trim?

Although we recommend coating the entire structure for long-term protection, we will also coat only those parts you want covered.

Can Liquid Spray Siding be applied to stone, block, brick, etc?

Yes, it can be applied to any paint-able surface, even including other sidings such as aluminum and stucco.

Won't Liquid Spray Siding crack or peel off over time?

NO! Unlike most other coatings on the market today, Liquid Spray Siding allows the coated surface to breathe (how it works). Some coatings such as rubber based products, rubber based paints and oils trap moisture under the coating. As this moisture vaporized, it cannot easily escape, putting pressure on the coating, ultimately causing blistering, flaking and peeling. The gaps between the PVC molecules in Liquid Spray Siding allow this vapor to escape. Liquid Spray Siding is time tested; it has proven to hold up without failures during the product's 35-year track record. This is how the manufacturer can offer a 50-year warranty which is also and transferable to a second homeowner.

Are there other products like Liquid Spray Siding?

Yes, there are copycat products - some coatings manufacturers market their products as “vinyl or rubber”. O
ther products rely on vinyl or rubber content which fails to breathe properly causing rotting from beneath the surface Most of these products are back-engineered attempts to duplicate Liquid Spray Siding’s properties.

Can Liquid Spray Siding be applied year-round?

Liquid Spray Siding is a weather sensitive coating and can only be applied in fifty degree temperatures or higher.

Can I afford Liquid Spray Siding?

Liquid Spray Siding is a highly skilled, professional application unlike simply painting. The EPA continues to tighten environmental restrictions on the toxic additives that make exterior paint durable - and that means paint jobs are going to deteriorate even faster than they do now, while the painting contractor's prices keep on rising. Liquid Spray Siding is comparative in price to better vinyl siding and is about three times the cost of a professional paint application.

Just think - instead of painting your house every few years, you could have it cast in beautiful, maintenance-free Liquid Spray Siding, and permanently rid yourself of the expense and trouble of constant painting. Can you afford not to find out more about Liquid Spray Siding today?
